Psychophobia Makes LOTW at Planetquake
On November 29, 2006 I released Psychophobia (q3chaosdm3). Sixteen months later… I’m very happy to report that it’s been listed as Level of the Week at Planetquake! Pappy-R wrote a really nice review of the map to go along with it’s LOTW status. I was very proud of my efforts on q3chaosdm3, but I was kind of dissapointed that the Quake 3 community was pretty much dead by the time I had released it. I hope that if there is still a community of Q3 players out there, my map will get some extra playing time now that it’s been put in the spotlight a little.
I just wanted to add as a side note that I spent countless hours making the bots play Psychophobia well. I think it’s something that a lot of mappers seemed to neglect in a lot of the maps I played throughout the years. If anyone is still playing Quake 3 and want to try a map that plays fairly well in skirmish mode, definitely give this map a chance. I’d love to hear some feedback too!

Grats! It’s a good feeling and well deserved. Map has fantastic flow and looks great to boot!
